“We want girls everywhere to have the confidence and support they need to challenge gender stereotypes and follow any path they choose.”

- Vicky Booth, CEO of Inspiring Girls International

Our Mission

Inspiring Girls Hong Kong is the local chapter of an international charity dedicated to empowering young women aged 14-18 to break down gender barriers and excel in male-dominated fields.

By connecting them with inspiring female role models from diverse industries, we ignite ambition and broaden horizons.

Our programs foster a supportive community, build essential skills, and create opportunities for these girls to reach their full potential in STEM, finance, technology, and other traditionally male-dominated sectors.

How it works

We create powerful connections between girls and inspiring female role models through a variety of immersive experiences. From school talks and intimate group discussions to engaging educational events curated with our corporate and learning partners, we provide platforms for mentorship and knowledge sharing.

We have developed three key programs:

Inspiring Girls is a five-module program designed to boost girls' self-confidence and broaden their horizons by introducing them to diverse role models.

EmpowerHer Future is a financial literacy and career development program that equips girls with the knowledge and skills to build financial independence and explore the finance industry.

Inspiring Education is a workshop for both girls and boys to challenge gender stereotypes related to career paths.

Our program is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals

SDG 5

Gender Equality

This goal is central to the mission of every Inspiring Girls Hong Kong team member. Our aim is to increase girls' aspirations by connecting them with female role models, breaking down gender stereotypes and reducing biases.

SDG 10

Reduced Inequalities

At Inspiring Girls Hong Kong, we place a high priority on serving underprivileged and marginalized youths, with a particular focus on lower banding schools and partnerships with ethnic minorities and refugee groups. We promote social mobility to close the poverty gap.

Words from Role Models

I decided to support Inspiring Girls, as the aim of the organisation really resonated with me, and when I look back and think about when I was a teenager, I had my Mum who was and is an amazing role model, but we oft.png
I wished there was an organisation like Inspiring Girls when I was young so that I could ask a lot of questions and got inspirations regarding all the possibilities available..png
